Real-world cost

What you'll actually pay by team size

Adding LiveView seats to your Advanced license changes the math significantly for any team larger than one person. The table below uses the 10G Advanced tier ($115/mo) as the base.

Scenario Advanced ($115) + LiveView Software total + Server (~$100) All-in/mo
Solo operator$115$70 × 1$185/mo+~$100~$285/mo
2-person NOC$115$70 × 2$255/mo+~$100~$355/mo
3-person NOC$115$70 × 3$325/mo+~$100~$425/mo
5-person team$115$70 × 5$465/mo+~$100~$565/mo
10-person team (40G tier)$220$70 × 10$920/mo+~$100~$1,020/mo

Server estimate: $100/month represents a mid-range dedicated server meeting FastNetMon's minimum requirements (16 GB RAM, 8 cores SSE 4.2, 150 GB SSD). Actual costs vary by provider. $85 activation fee on monthly Advanced plans not included above.

FAQ

FastNetMon pricing: common questions

Does FastNetMon Community have any ongoing cost?
The software itself is free. But FastNetMon Community requires a dedicated server with at least 16 GB RAM, 8 CPU cores (SSE 4.2 required), and 150 GB+ SSD. At most cloud or bare-metal providers, that server costs $60–150/month. The software is free; the infrastructure is not.
What is the $85 activation fee?
FastNetMon charges a one-time $85 activation fee for FastNetMon Advanced monthly subscriptions. This fee does not apply to annual plans. It is a one-time charge per instance, not recurring.
Is FastNetMon LiveView included in my existing Advanced subscription?
No. FastNetMon LiveView is a separate product launched April 29, 2026. It is billed separately at $70/user/month (or $720/user/year) and is not included in any Advanced tier. Existing Advanced subscribers must purchase LiveView separately if they want web dashboard access.
Does FastNetMon offer a free trial of Advanced?
FastNetMon Advanced trials are available but gated — you need to apply and be approved. There is no self-serve trial. Flowtriq offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card and no application required.
What does FastNetMon cost for multi-site deployments?
FastNetMon Advanced licenses are per-instance. Each additional deployment location requires an additional license at the same bandwidth-tiered pricing ($115–$350/month). Each instance also requires its own dedicated server. Costs multiply linearly with the number of monitoring points. Flowtriq uses per-node pricing that covers all deployment locations under one subscription.
Where can I see FastNetMon's official pricing?
FastNetMon's published pricing is at fastnetmon.com/pricing. The pricing shown there is for the Advanced license only — server infrastructure, activation fee, and LiveView are separate line items. This page aims to present the full picture of what operators actually pay.
