What the CFC Covers
The exam tests practical, real-world Flowtriq knowledge across five modules:
- Deployment and Architecture - ftagent installation, sFlow/NetFlow/IPFIX ingestion, multi-node setups, system requirements
- Configuration and Tuning - Dynamic baselines, threshold multipliers, alert channels, false positive reduction
- Mitigation Setup - BGP FlowSpec, RTBH, scrubbing center integration, auto-escalation, Service Port Detection
- Traffic Analysis and Reporting - Dashboard interpretation, PCAP analysis, attack classification, client-facing reports
- Client Success and Sales - Onboarding workflows, pricing tiers, white-label options, ROI positioning, partner program
Module 5 is what makes the CFC different from our other certs. It tests whether you understand how to position Flowtriq to prospects, onboard clients effectively, and set up deployments that reduce support load long-term.
What You Get When You Pass
LinkedIn Credential
One-click "Add to Profile" puts the CFC in your LinkedIn certifications section. A separate "Share" button creates a pre-written post announcing the credential to your network. The certificate includes a unique verification ID that links back to our verification page.
Consultant Directory Listing
Certified consultants who opt in appear on the Flowtriq Trusted Network page. When a prospect contacts us looking for help with deployment, we refer them to certified consultants in their region. This is real lead flow, not a badge that sits in a drawer.
Partner Program Access
CFC holders qualify for the Flowtriq affiliate program: 15% recurring commission on referred customers with a 30-day attribution cookie. You also get priority support access and co-marketing opportunities (featured in blog posts, case studies, and social media).
Offer Installs as a Service
The CFC gives you a credential to back up your pitch when offering Flowtriq deployment as a paid consulting engagement. We support certified consultants with documentation, training resources, and direct engineering access for complex deployments.
